Veterans Affairs
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) offers a wide range of exceptionally useful benefits to wounded warriors. To help navigate the VA’s benefits system, a Federal Recovery Coordinator assigned to Navy Wounded Warrior collaborates with the VA to access recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration benefits and services for wounded warriors.
The Veterans Benefits Administration can share information on VA benefits for wounded warriors; call 800-827-1000. Enrollees in Navy Wounded Warrior are encouraged to reach out to their non-medical care management team to connect with the Federal Recovery Coordinator. They also can call 855-NAVY WWP/855-628-9997 or email navywoundedwarrior.fct@navy.mil..
