Current Opportunities
Navy Wounded Warrior helps service members with serious non-combat or combat-related wounds and injuries as well as physical or psychological illnesses. The program offers individualized guidance on pay and benefits, caregiver resources, bedside travel, job training, childcare, and more, to encourage retention and return to duty or support a smooth transition to the VA should a medical condition prohibit continued service.
Warrior Care Month (November)
Established by former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, Warrior Care Month is aimed at increasing awareness of programs and resources available to wounded, ill and injured service members, their families and those who care for them.
Road the the Warrior Games (January - June)
More than 40 seriously wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans represent the Navy and Coast Guard in friendly intra-service competitions with U.S. Army, U.S, Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Space Force, and Special Operations Command.
Esports (Ongoing)
Navy Wounded Warrior Esports is a recreation initiative that provides entertainment and connection opportunities through competitive esports.
